Poker Face singer, Lady Gaga, opened up about her sexual abuse after a touching "Till It Happens To You" Oscar performance.

Lady Gaga and the sexual assault survivors from her Oscars performance have all had matching tattoos.

One of those from the survivor's group, a Twitter user called Elver, tweeted a photo collage of others who had had the symbol inked on their inner wrist, forearm and back, along with the photo of Gaga.

In an Instagram post, Lady Gaga wrote that the first rehearsal for the Oscars performance forced her to face a harsh truth: that she wasn't an outsider to the group of survivors.

Lin, a Stanford University student in the group, took the infinity sign, used the symbol of DNA structure and played around with iterations that included Gaga's favorite flower, which is the white rose.

Another day, another way Lady Gaga continues to inspire us.

"That first day of rehearsal we were all very hesitant", Carson said.

Advocating: Gaga has been taking to social media to express support for sexual violence victims and in support of beleaguered singer Kesha. This is my office,' and added '#FreeEveryWoman #FreeKesha.' During the 88th Academy Awards, the "Paparazzi" hit-maker enthralled her fans by performing Oscar-nominated song 'Til It Happens to You, ' a song on sexual abuse. "The whole night before I did not sleep", Gaga's post said.

When Gaga met the survivors, she said she was "disconnected" and felt guilty and sorry she couldn't be "Gaga" for them. "Hair wet, sloppy tee shirt jeans uggs, tissues". "They accepted me for me, at my lowest and that was good enough for them, so somehow through the magic of their courage they made it good enough for me too", she shared.

'I was too ashamed. "These survivors represented for others all over the world and I was so honored to be up there with them".
