As of the writing of this post, the phone can only be charged slowly, and the owner will get a replacement.

Although the phone itself is certified as IP68 water resistant and is marketed as such, the charging port itself remains exposed to water. If this report is indeed true, this will be the first time Samsung has reduced the launch price of their flagships, something it should have done with the recently released Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7.

The phones come with a price tag of HK$5,198 for the S7 and HK$5,998 for the S7 Edge. On the camera front, they come with a 12MP dual pixel f/1.7rear camera with smart OIS and a 5MP selfie shooter. One of the differences between the two is the presence of a 3600mAh battery in the Galaxy S7 Edge compared to the 3000mAh battery in the Galaxy S7. The return of MicroSD means storage can be expanded to a whopping 200GB. On the connectivity from, dual-SIM card slots (hybrid support), 4G LTE, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ac are present. The devices will be available starting mid-March.
