Suicide Squad and The Wolf Of Wall Street actress Margot Robbie says she wants to star and make a movie about controversial ice skater Tonya Harding. Fortunately, her leg wasn't broken, and she went on to take silver at the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer seven weeks later. And, of course, we all know what comes next: Harding's husband Jeff Gillooly and some hired men attacked Kerrigan, hoping to remove her from the competition. She went on to win the U.S. Figure Skating Championships and placed second at the World level.

This is not the first time that someone has adapted the story of Tonya Harding both on the small and big screens. Robbie is also joining in a producing capacity.

After portraying a premier villain from the world of comics, Margot Robbie is set to play one of the most infamous figures from the world of sports. According to Deadline, the planned biopic, entitled I, Tonya, is being produced by Clubhouse Pictures from a script by Steven Rogers, who wrote P.S. Harding wound up winning gold in those Olympics, but has always been considered the villain of the story, compared to the girl-next-door hero Kerrigan.
