As Twitter hinted last month, Vine application will become Vine Camera.

The plan to close the video-looping service was announced past year, but this is the first time a set date for the closure has been confirmed. We'll notify you through the app when this feature is available.

The functionality of the app will largely be the same as users record and make six-second videos, but the wider Vine network will be gone.

Users can also request to download their Vines via email.

If you want to save your vines, you'll be able to starting January 17th through the iOS or Android app on your phone thanks to the site becoming a big archive of all the videos created.

Wisconsin failed to cover in the match as a -2.5-point favorite, while 69 combined points moved the game OVER for totals bettors. The Broncos averaged a very balanced 497 yards per game on offense this season, 260 through the air and 237 on the ground.

Now, Vine is turning into a standalone camera app to be called Vine Camera, that would allow the user to capture the same six-second videos as on Vine before.

"Once the Vine Camera is live, you will no longer be able to download your Vines from the app", it warned.

As for Vine's website, the app says it will transition into an archive of vine content and users with vanity URLs will continue to have a dedicated profile on the site.

You can connect your Vine and Twitter accounts so that your followers can find you on Twitter with our new Follow On Twitter feature.

Downloaded Vines will include captions and totals for likes, comments and revines, but video messages and the comments themselves will not be included.
