Given Donald Trump's nominees for key administration posts, the Vice President-elect's record on climate change, and recent climate change denial from the president-elect, the fate of the Clean Power Plan remains uncertain and progress that benefits New Mexico communities and communities across the country is at risk.

Appearing late Wednesday outside of his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, Trump told reporters the transition was going "very, very smoothly" and that he had a "general conversation" that was "very, very nice".

"We had a very general conversation", he added.

On Secretary of State John Kerry's address on Israel: "I think his speech really speaks for itself", Trump said, allowing that, while Mideast peace is a shared goal, he and the Obama White House hold differing views. Trump's tweet criticized Obama for making "inflammatory" remarks, lamenting that his hope for a seamless transition had been dashed.

Trump has repeatedly accused the Obama administration of not being a strong enough ally of Israel.

Part of this is the result of executive actions Obama's taken to protect elements of his policy legacy; part of this is the fact that the president believes he could defeat Trump in a hypothetical presidential election; and part of it is the president-elect's needlessly thin skin.

In a podcast interview with former advisor David Axelrod that went live on Monday, Obama said that he could have won the 2016 presidential election with a vision of "one America that is tolerant and diverse and open".

The Sprint jobs announcement came after tensions rose and fell Wednesday between Trump and Obama.

In that sense, Trump might actually want to say "Thanks Obama", rather than thanking himself.

Tech billionaire Masayoshi Son promised to create 50,000 jobs after meeting with the president-elect in December.

Trump later told reporters that Israel is being treated "very, very unfairly", maintaining that countries that are "horrible places" never get reprimanded.

Ahead of Obama's re-election effort in 2011, Mr Trump lead the so-called "Birther movement", falsely asserting that he was not a natural-born citizen of the United States and consequently, under Article Two of the U.S. Constitution, that he was ineligible to be President of the United States.

With the Obama administration's reponse to Russia's alleged interference in the November election, it is likely Trump will find another opportunity to hit back at his on-again-off-gain friend.

"We can not continue to let Israel be treated with such total disdain and disrespect", he wrote. "I think that computers have complicated lives very greatly". The president-elected stopped short of endorsing such a move but heaped additional criticism on an organization that two days earlier he said had become "just a club for people to get together, talk and have a good time".

The letter was a rebuttal to one sent this month by Republican officials from West Virginia and 21 other states and Democrats from the coal-producing states of Kentucky and Missouri urging Trump to issue a Day 1 executive order declaring the Clean Power Plan unlawful and prohibiting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency from enforcing it.

As aforementioned, Mr Trump and Mr Obama have enjoyed something of a frosty relationship for many years.
